HIKE with SAN DIEGO SIERRA CLUB MeetUp Group offers day hikes led by experienced volunteers. Local day hikes are FREE TO EVERYONE. We do not provide transportation, gear, food, or medical insurance, making you responsible for those items. Some distant locations may have moderate cost for bus transportation, campgrounds, and permits. Sierra Club San Diego has additional hikes, activities, camping, and training listed at our Website.
Each of our hike Leaders has passion for the outdoors, desire to share their expertise with others, and interest in welcoming new hikers. Choose from a variety of outings. The day hikes reflect the diversity of our leaders’ interests in hike difficulty and conservation content.

Bus Trips are Back: Mammoth - Camping- Hiking- Enjoying the Outdoors
Mammoth Lakes, US 395, CA, USAn Organized and Fantastic team of Volunteer leaders will guide you through a variety of trails for three full days of hiking.
Your Choice-Long or Short hikes, Easy, Moderate, or Difficult.
Distances vary.
Sign-up through links below. If you sign-up through Meetup you will be placed on a wait list, and contacted by leaders.
Arrive Wednesday late afternoon at the Group Campground. Hike Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Return home on Sunday.
Bring your own Camping and hiking gear. Supply your own food, beverages, and cookstove. Hiking Poles recommended.
Weather in the mountains varies. Possible thunderstorms/rain late afternoon. Rain Gear is a must!
Mammoth Village eateries are in walking distance.
