Hibanks Difficult River Path, Level 6 (out of 10) Hike

I have been hiking Highbanks a lot this last summer and fall and it is incredible. This path I have taken 3 or 4 times.

The route starts at the North West end of the big turn around (40° 9'17.06"N, 83° 2'37.42"W), stays on the "Dripping Rock" path down to the river where it picks up a desire path for about 3/4 mile along the river. Then follows a stream bed North East back up to the "Overlook" path.

I like to stop about 1/2 up the South-most stream bed for snack time and a rest, there are tons of beautiful spots to stop and relax along the river as well.

The "hard" parts are along the river (I got my shoes muddied) and hiking down the first stream bed to the river. I would call it a level 6 or maybe 7 hike.

I've called Highbanks to get the OK on this path and it was given the all clear (By Michael, Ranger #49). Both the desire path and the stream beds are ok for hiking.
