This meetup is about celebrating live, health and prosperity! Meet other outdoor enthusiasts participating in various activities such as hiking (beginner to intermediate levels), kayaking, zip-lining, whale watching, biking, etc. This group also enjoys social activities such as concert, museum tour, dinner & movies.

Southern California are full of great outdoor adventures and social events waiting for us to enjoy. Let's get out there and partake in these exciting activities!

* Member who likes to join this meetup MUST HAVE a CLEAR PHOTOGRAPH in her or his profile otherwise she or he will not be approved. This is for safety reasons to identify you in case you get lost or emergency.

The Black Bear Diner

Let's hike the Juanita Cooke Greenbelt trail to Laguna Lake. This is a easy to moderate hike where all member of families can enjoy. The Juanita Cooke Greenbelt is a wonderful escape from the often-busy streets and highways of Orange County. This 2.5-mile trail in Fullerton connects some of the area's quiet neighborhoods with the downtown area, making it a great commuter path as well. The wide mulch and dirt surface makes this trail ideal for equestrian, pedestrian and bike use, alike. The trail is named for the woman who once served as a liaison for the Fullerton Recreation Riders, a local equestrian group that helped get the trail built. Bring plenty of water apply sun screen. LOCATION: We start at 8 am sharp at the parking lot behind Black Bear Diner. After the hike, we can have brunch at the diner. LENGTH : 6 miles round trip. Condition: mostly flat, shaded.
