Sunrise Hike at Jerry Erwin Park

Jerry Erwin Park

The park is now too dark to walk through at this time of day. Therefore we'll be walking 3 miles along Reserve Blvd. We start promptly at 4:20 am. The street is well lit but you should bring a flashlight to make yourself visible.

4 - 5 mile Stones River Greenway Walk

Stones River Greenway - Cason trailhead

There is a trail map next to the playground and restrooms. We'll meet there and then do a moderately paced 4 - 5 mile walk along the greenway. Plan to meet 10 minutes before the start of the walk. If you are going to be late and want me to wait, text or call Steve at[masked]. If you change your mind and will not attend, please change your RSVP. We will be leaving promptly at 2 pm unless everyone who RSVPs is there before that time and we can start early. Please bring a bottle of water.

Non-stop, 5 mile hike: Bicentennial Park and Nashville downtown

By the Farmer's Market

We will meet near the castle-like structure of Farmer's market, located at its 7th avenue entrance. There are plenty of free parking spaces all along 7th avenue. We will depart promptly at 5:15 pm, walk around the Bicentennial park, and reach park visitor center (map plaza), where late-comers can join us around 5:30 pm. From map plaza, we will climb some 250 steps to State capitol, and follow different streets to Music City Center, Schermerhorn symphony, Seigenthaler Bridge (river crossing), Nissan Stadium, Public Square, and return back to Farmer's market by 6:45 pm. Sometimes, we may change or reverse the route! Walk at your own pace, but be with a member who knows the route well. For questions call Raju [masked]), or Steve [masked]).
