What we're about

This group was created to help people explore nature with curiosity, awareness and intention. Hikes will encourage connection with others while also allowing for personal time and mindfulness. Contact yoga (http://www.contactyoga.org) will often be used to build trust and communication, and it is a great way to get an awesome stretch without a yoga mat. No experience or partner is needed.

We are now based in Sonoma Valley, but hikes will be throughout the East Bay, North Bay and beyond!

The hikes will also include teachable moments about the local ecology and wild edibles. Alok Rocheleau is a naturalist, yoga instructor, massage therapist, and lover of nature whose goal is to connect people to inner and outer nature. Anjuli Mahendra is a dancer, yogini, and massage therapist who thrives in the elements of nature. We also offer longer trips to other beautiful sites in California. Join us if you want to meet other people into hiking, nature and yoga. Open to all levels of fitness and yoga experience.
