Are you looking to get outdoors but not sure where to start? Are you looking to meet new people? Do you enjoy a tasty taco? Well then this is a meet up group for you. This is a great opportunity to try something new and be social.

Not just for singles, not just for couples... this is for ANYONE AND EVERYONE who wants to get off the couch. Kid and dog friendly. Dogs have to be on a leash. During summer months please consider bringing water for your canine friend. Taco Deli does have dog water bowls available onsite.

We hike (casual walk) along the greenbelt for about 1 hr = 2.24 miles to Taco Deli, stop and eat tasty tacos, and then hike back for the same distance. Start = 10:30 am. End = 1-1:30 pm. The parking area has plenty of spots. All you need is comfortable cloths, comfy sneakers, and a water bottle.

Meeting location: Ball field parking lot near Zilker Park but across the street from the Umlauf Sculpture Garden. (Reference point address: 605 Robert E Lee Rd, Austin, TX 78704) Parking is FREE.

*Member RSVP Fairness Policy:

In order to fair to those who make an effort to attend and in some cases drive almost an hour I need to start taking attendance. Starting 3/17/16 everyone will have 1 pass if they RSVP with a no show. A member who has RSVP'd with a no show 2 times will be removed from the group. After 6 months the individual will have an opportunity to rejoin. Members who are wait listed and added less than 48 hrs. before a hike will not be effected due to late notifications.

All you need is comfortable clothes, comfy sneakers, and a water bottle.

The Taco place is usually busy by the time we reach so it's best that you order your TACO online before we start the hike.

2. Select the store location to "SPYGLASS"
3. Select your favourite taco(s) from their wide range of breakfast tacos.
4. Select the "In-Store Pickup" option and set the pickup time to be 11 AM

Not just for singles, not just for couples... this is for ANYONE AND EVERYONE who wants to get off the couch. Kid and dog friendly. Dogs have to be on a leash. Post-hike (once we’re back at the starting point), a few of us walk two blocks down the road to an open patio bar - Ski Shore Cafe to grab a beer/coffee/drink of your choice.
