Surf - BSR Surf Resort

Let's hit the waves at BSR Surf Resort in Waco! There is a beginner wave at 2pm (that's where I'll be) and an intermediate wave at 3pm. Select the wave depending on your skill level, and spend the other hour on the surf park beach, relaxing. If you're a beginner the skill level choice is obvious; if you're skilled enough to angle left and right, then it sounds like the intermediate wave is for you, but read the descriptions yourself and decide. We can meet in Georgetown around 11:30 and carpool to Waco. This will give us time to get into the park and get boards, etc. before the first wave time at 2:00. Should be back to Georgetown by 6. I'll pick an exact carpool meet-up spot as the date gets closer.

Beginner wave is $60 (includes board rental) and intermediate wave is $75 (board rental not included; more expensive due to fewer surfers being allowed in each time slot for the bigger waves). If you've never been surfing before, I highly recommend a long-sleeve rash guard. The soft boards can be rough on your arms as you paddle.
