This is another whirlwind tour though many Philadelphia neighborhoods. From Dunkin Donuts on Market St next to the Hard Rock Cafe we'll head towards Chinatown. We'll continue through alleyways in Olde City. Zip through Franklin Court, and the Independence Hall/First Bank area, then continue south to the Italian Market area through many alleyways. We'll turn west towards the Schuylkill passing through Hawthorne, Southwest Center City, and Devils Pocket before taking the South St Bridge to Penn Park.
We zip through the incredible buildings at Penn, Penn Medical, hit the botanical garden area, then head through the Penn Campus towards Drexel. We'll cross the Schuylkill, head down the walk area towards the Art Museum, then thread our way though Fairmount back to the starting point.
Caution:You should be able to walk 3-4 hours without much of a break. You should have recently hiked 8 miles in conditions detailed above.
I'll probably take the train to Dunkin Donuts because parking is difficult in this area. (http://local.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=116038663712107563784.0004666eb6851e0119bbe&ll=40.073852,-75.210428&spn=0.012692,0.020084&z=16)
