It's said that the Samuel Pepys ran up the steps along side this pub to warn The Lord Mayor of London of the great fire.
In the 1880's the once grand Canon street station was built here, today it's been been replaced by the much newer station, but it's original 120ft towers remain as an icon on the Thames and this little pub sits under them.
The pub is full of character and atmosphere, with secret nooks and crannies, arches as well as a long room over looking the river. I know your going to love this place. It's also a Fullers pub, with great beer and great food. You don't want to miss this one.
