
What we’re about
Welcome. We are a ski and snowboard club run for members by members. Our foundation is built around snow-sports and the winter, but our club is active all year round. On season we run plenty of weekend trips to resorts in the Northeast and several week long trips out West or to Europe. Off season we don't stop- hiking, biking, happy hours, beach meet-ups and socializing are just a few of our activities. Our members are active men and women who live in the NJ/NY area. The majority of our members are in their 30's & 40's. (While we have no age limits, you do have to be 21 to join.) Whether you're a skier, snowboarder, or just like social activities, our club has something for you. Unlike some other clubs where you must attend every meeting, volunteer for duties, be voted in by nomination, etc...We do none of that. We realize everyone has their own lives and a busy schedule. Come to our meetings as often as you like, or as little as your schedule permits. Our $40 membership give you access to all activities year round and a great group of people. 8:00 pm Happy Hour startsGet ready for a summer night done right! HSSC is hitting the water for sunset kayaking with Resilience Paddle Sports at Hoboken’s iconic Pier 13. Paddle into golden hour, take in skyline views, and finish the night with a chill hangout on the pier.
Whether you’re a kayaking pro or trying it for the first time, this laid-back adventure is all about summer vibes and new memories. This is also open to experienced standup paddleboarders who can keep up with the group. Bring a water bottle, towel, and a valid ID.
Arrive at Resilience Paddle Sports dock at 6:30 pm for check-in. We will depart at 7 pm for a 90-minute guided tour along the Hudson. At around 8:30, we’ll head over to Pier 13 for some food trucks, drinks and great company. If you don’t plan to kayak, meet the group at Pier 13 starting at 8:00.

Cancellation Policy: Please notify Resilience a full 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel for any reason. You will receive a refund.
Weather Cancellations: Resilience will cancel tours in the event of heavy rain, lightning or high wind. If impossible for participants to reschedule, a refund will be issued for weather cancellations made by Resilience Paddle Sports. Participants will be notified by email and/or phone the day before or the morning of the tour if inclement weather seems likely. Resilience may wait until the day of the tour to make a final decision as the weather can fluctuate considerably. If Resilience decides to proceed with a tour but a participant does not wish to attend due to weather conditions that seem less than ideal, Resilience will issue a gift card for the same amount as the booking that the participant(s) can use to reschedule during the same season.

Seastreak Beach Bash

Sandbox at Seastreak Beach, 326 Shore Dr., Highlands, NJWe’re bringing ski club summer vibes to the shore—no ski boots, just sandy feet and hard seltzers. Sandbox is a private beach party with food trucks, live music, and tons of space to chill, tan, or play beach games. You can bring games (like cornhole and kan jam), umbrellas, and beach chairs.
This one is great for NYC folks… Take the ferry from Pier 11 (Wall St.) and enjoy the 40-minute ride that pulls up directly to the beach. Others can drive down and meet us at the Big Red Chair (free parking).
Schedule:
1:10 pm: Ferry departs NYC Pier 11 Ferry Terminal
1:50 pm: Arrive at Seastreak Beach
2:30 pm: Group meets at the Big Red Chair
3:00 pm: Chill, swim, play, sip, repeat. Live music by Captain Mike & The Skipwrecked
