Mindfulness meditation is about being in the present moment just as it is, non-judgmentally. We develop this skill by practicing mindfulness meditation and its variations together, with great compassion toward ourselves. Wear comfortable clothes. All practices can be done sitting on a cushion or a chair, standing, or lying down. Sessions will be guided by Marjatta Moimas at the Gale Free Library in Holden, MA. Marjatta is a certified teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) through the Center for Mindfulness, UMass Medical School.
