What we're about

A group for avid DIY and interior decorating enthusiasts! Facilitated by Professional Interior Decorator, Jonelle Tannahill, of Impressions ReDesign - impressionsredesign.com This group shares design topics, tours homes, shares decorating techniques, before and after pictures and holiday decorating themes.

The goal is to have fun, make friends, share ideas, resources and solutions. We learn and inspire each other to make home decorating fun and easy. The group meets at local interior design related businesses throughout South Placer County and Sacramento.

We love to check out interior decorating stores, furniture stores, art galleries and paint stores etc, all while discussing the latest trends. We learn what works and doesn't work in design, get inspired and have fun window shopping! Bring along photos and projects so members can help you brainstorm solutions and celebrate completed projects.

This group will encourage, inspire and be a great resource for information on home decorating. The mission of the Home Decorators Club is to bring together individuals interested in learning more about decorating their home. This fun, supportive group combines those who are a bit challenged when it comes to decorating their homes with those who just love decorating!

Top Flooring Options and Trends 2019

Needs a location

Top Flooring Options and Trends The When, Why and How You have many types of flooring to choose from when planning your next design project. From wood flooring to laminate, Carpet, Ceramic Tile. And then, of course, there’s the flexibility of luxury vinyl flooring — both in terms of style and design, but also it comes to durability and stability. With so many factors to consider, how do you know what type of flooring is best for your next interior design project? On Wednesday, June 19th in Folsom presenter Mark Knasko with Gold River Flooring in Folsom will be our speaker. With more than 30 years in sales and installations in the flooring industry, Mark will give us a deep dive into all flooring products. Manufacturers and flooring experts have researched and analyzed the comparison of flooring types —Gold River Flooring evaluated each flooring type using the following elements: • Look & Style • Durability & Stability • Applications • Costs At this meetup you will learn that there are many other factors that come into play as well, but the key to narrowing down flooring types is selecting one that fits within your budget, lasts long and helps you achieve your desired design aesthetic within your space. To help you select the right flooring for your project, Mark from Gold River Flooring will show us samples and give details on every flooring option. Gold River Flooring will provide handouts, a snack and lots of inspiring flooring for you to get your hands on. If you are looking for flooring bring your colors, paint chip, photo, fabrics and other elements in the room and we can discuss color as it relates to flooring too. Come to this meetup to get updated information on Hardwoods, Tile, Laminate, Carpet, Vinyl, Cork – some of the most popular types of flooring, learn their pros and cons, and the rooms for which they are best suited. Our flooring contact: Mark Knasko[masked] Gold River Flooring 98 Clarksville Rd Folsom, CA (Near Palladio) [masked] We will have a fun icebreaker, and a few door prize drawings. (Let me know if you want to donate a door prize) There is a $5.00 Meetup fee. Plenty of parking in the Gold River Flooring parking lot. Event runs from 5:00-6:30PM. I hope to see you Wednesday, June 19th in Folsom! Jonelle’

Annual Home Decorators SWAP -A SWAP of home decorating items

Home Decorators Club Leader's Home

Let's SWAP our home decor items. You won't want to miss our annual Home Décor Exchange Party. An exchange party is where each guest brings 5-8 home decor accessories in good condition to swap with each other! Not only will you have fun, but you’ll clean out your attic, find new (to you) decorating accessories, support your Home Decorators Club, and help others in need (leftover items will be donated to Charity) Here’s how it works. Each guest brings 5-8 home accessory items that they just don’t use anymore (such as a vase, picture, sculpture, wine rack, serving platter, silver, dishes, glassware, linens, rugs, bolts of fabric, holiday decor, lamps, chandeliers, …you get the idea). You drop off those decor items on Friday afternoon/evening July 19th at meetup leaders house in Loomis. There will be helpers receiving them. The next day when you arrive you will see all the donated items in good retail fashion on tables so everyone can view them. When you arrive on Saturday you draw a number that will tell you when it’s your turn to pick an item to take home. Each guest brings a finger food or snacks and you'll have plenty of time to make new friends. There is a $15.00 Fee for the event. Money for this event pays the event expenses and goes to annual expenses for the Home Decorators Club. You may phone me with questions[masked]. Remember I have to limit the group to 25, so sign up right away. There is a minimum of 10 to make this event a sucess. I will sent out an email with details and gate code a few weeks before the event, so please let me know if you do not get it. This was the top-rated events for 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 Don't miss it! More details to come and will be shared with only those attending. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers! Jonelle'
