HALLOWEEN SPECIAL!

Want to spend a Halloween cute fun morning with your kids? There will be immersive storytelling on a gigantic spider web with spiders..... and the introduction of use of baby sign language in the farm animals context. Our usual music and movement routine with some halloween songs... and.... The VERY IRRESISTIBLE farm sensory bin with the busy spider backdrop. Parents can also guide your kids in crafting their own spider pom poms to bring home!

This playgroup focuses on singing, music and movement for both parent/carer and baby/toddler. Singing and dancing is a great way for your child to develop social skills as well as for you to bond with your child. Studies have shown that regular singing sessions help to broaden your child's vocabulary and listening skills which are an essential part of learning to read, write and communicate. Music has a special power. It lights up all areas of child development: intellectual, social and emotional, motor, language. It helps strengthen concentration and memory skills.

What to expect?

We start every session with a hello song to get to know every child in this intimate and cozy session. Then we will warm up our voices to familiar and some new nursery rhymes with lots of movement and some use of props (puppets, toys, instruments) to enhance your child’s learning experience.

Our structured classes involve repetition to support learning but there will be a theme of focus each season to keep the babies and toddlers stimulated.

This session is suitable for crawling babies to 4 years old. Older siblings are welcomed to join in during their school vacation or if they are home-schooled.

Refreshments will be served after the 1 hour session and parents are welcomed to stay on for a chit chat while your children enjoy some free play.

Fee: $25 per session (20% discount for regulars, attended more than 5 Mama Huiyun's playdates)

This session will be conducted in English. We may also learn some catchy nursery rhymes in other different languages.
