We are native Thais and have been living in NY for a decade. Our cooking knowledge, skills and recipes have been inherited by learning and experience through helping our mothers to cook and prepare. Now we wish to share our authentic Thai food and cooking heritage with you!
Classes are held in Elmhurst, Queens – Thai town, home to one of the largest Thai communities in NYC where we can easily source some of the freshest Thai ingredients and spices. With us, you will not only learn to cook but taste and have recipes to take home.
Imagine cooking a full 3-course Thai meal! You will learn to make two appetizers, one entrée and one dessert in each course (lunch/dinner).
Appetizers: include raw papaya salad (Som Tum), fried chicken wings and fried calamari.
Entrees: comprise of Thai shrimp stir fried rice noodles (shrimp Pad Thai), beef stir fried dark noodles in black sauce (pad see ew neua), chicken fried holy basil (pad graprow) and beef and noodles in gravy (rad nar neua).
Desserts: include mango with sticky rice, Thai iced tea, steamed pumpkin and coconut.
You will leave with the knowledge and ability to make your very own Thai food at home. We can't wait to teach you!
