What we're about
This is a group for any primary or secondary school STEM Teachers interested in learning or sharing best practice, experience, or fun computer science projects (coding/robotics/IOT/3D printing...) to stimulate their students' interest level in their STEM classes and to develop their creative thinking and problem solving skills. We plan to organise following regular Meetup event at our Workshop, located in Ap Lei Chau, that are fully equipped with optic fibre internet access with hardware (mainly Raspberry Pi based), software, coding project material for members' discussion/jamming.
The organiser is the Founder of Qi Computer Technologies Limited & Project Curiosity, a corporate social responsibility initiative to promoting computer literacy and equal learning opportunity.
Create a modular education platform to engage and enrich our community in the usage and benefits of computers.
Our vision is to empower children to shape their own future by providing an educational eco-system covering all aspects of today’s technologies including hardware, software, content, and deployment.
Reach out to children and educators by partnering with schools and educational centres via online services, Train-The-Trainer events, and instructor lead workshops to raise interest in computing technologies in order better enable them to shape their own futures. Utilise financially accessible computer hardware coupled with the interconnected modular content providing customized training events delivered by educators and Project Curiosity volunteers.
