Hong Kong Stories. True stories told before a live audience. We run regular (free) workshops for storytellers and produce 12 (or more) live shows per year. If you're interested in learning how to tell great stories, come to our workshops and give it a try. You might be a natural! If you're not, we can help you with that.
This workshop is open to anyone at any level. First timer or old hand.
We ask every workshop participant to give storytelling a try but don't worry too much about theme or length or structure; it's not required in a rough draft. The workshop will help you bring those elements to your story.
There are some requirements: 1) your story must be true, 2) it has to be in the 'first person' (you are the main character) and, 3) for the purposes of this workshop, limited to 7 minutes. Shorter stories welcome.
The purpose of every workshop, including this one, is to move storytellers one step closer to a live performance. The purpose of Hong Kong Stories is to help you get heard.
Everyone has a story to tell.
Hope to see you there.
Please note any changes to the schedule will be noted in the comments section before the start of the workshop.
