***This is a joint HH meetup with New Friends in the 808 State*** Happy hour is the ideal time to visit Bevy. The dimly lit, industrial-meets-vintage spot serves up delicious eats that match the quality of their drinks. During happy hour you can try a variety of plates and several different cocktails — including a featured cocktail of the day — without breaking the bank. During happy hour, you can choose from 12 classic cocktails for the $6 price point. For $6 each, these are a steal — classic cocktails at other bars usually cost at least upwards of $10. The featured cocktail of the day is also $6, and you can find out what's being served that day on Bevy's instagram (http://bit.ly/2XUvo99). Happy hour includes: Oysters on the half shell for $1.50 each -$2 off all small plates (so $7-9 each) -$6 cocktail of the day or classic cocktails (regular price $8-10) -$6 sparkling or Spanish wines (regular price $9-12) -$2 off beers in a can (regular price $5-10) Happy hour ends at 7, but you can continue the party here or anywhere else at SALT. There is no RSVP limit for this event, but we'll be checking. PARKING: Validated parking in the SALT At Our Kaka’ako parking structure (free parking for one hour, $1 per hour thereafter, or metered street parking available. For all of us staying on the rock this Thanksgiving holiday, let's get together at Barefoot Bar at Hale Koa Hotel. Bareboot bar is outdoors and set alongside the beach walk - making for a wonderfully chill ambiance. Come and share a relaxing time sipping a favorite drink, listening to quality live music and meeting new friends and getting reacquainted with old ones.
I was blessed to attend Peter Shmock's Life Athlete retreat on Moloka'i in 2018 and wanted to bring it to your attention as it is a rare opportunity to work with several gifted teachers. I've known Peter for over 25 years and he has had a tremendously positive influence in my life and I know any of you would also benefit from sharing time with him. Words can't capture what it is like attending a Life Athlete retreat - it simply must be experience. However, to give you a basic idea - during the week long retreat I learned ways to take better care for my body, I became more aware of how my mind tries to undermine my well being, and I left feeling grateful for life and a deeper love for myself and those around me. To learn more about the retreat, click link below. https://www.lifeathlete.com/molokai-retreat/ If you have questions, best to contact Peter directly but you are welcome to contact me if you think necessary. Aloha
