The day we’ve been waiting for over 2 years has finally arrived!
On behalf of Hopper, we’d like to organize our first post-pandemic MeetUp with Dejan Maksimovik, Software Engineering Manager at Hopper and well known in the Irish tech community as 1st speaker and Ignasi Marimon-Clos, OSS contributor and Sr software engineer at Hopper on Tuesday May 17th at 7pm (GMT +3).

We are considering hosting the Tech talk in-person at Barter Community Hub. However, we would like to validate the community’s thoughts as our priority is the health and safety of both the Sofia tech community and Hopper’s team.

A little more about Anne:
Anne Raby, a passionate software development leader delivering large-scale solutions for nearly two decades. Motivated by driving efficient and maintainable solutions to complicated problems, she has lived the software lifecycle in large and small companies, from Telco to Travel. She has found her niche at Hopper where she leads engineering for the Hotel Travel Agency as a Service Unit. Outside office hours, she is also a mother of three. She believes in giving to the next generation. Taking time to relax, enjoy a book, a hike in nature, knitting or riding a motorcycle are pleasures Anne enjoys. She has always been avid about duality.
A little about Dejan:
An accomplished engineering leader with a wealth of experience delivering engineering, product and infrastructure related software solutions across many small to large organizations. Tenure touches many different industries; In which Dejan was responsible for leading, growing and delivering many innovative B2B and B2C solutions. Dejan is also known in the Irish tech community scene for his talks on "Agile, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" and "Data as a Service: How To Guide". Outside of office hours, Dejan is an active individual who frequently participates in local charity marathons, indulges in musical arts and loves to read books about philosophy.
A little about Ignasi:
Ignasi is a seasoned software engineer with experience in sectors like healthcare, electronic democracy and developer tooling. In this talk he'll share his experience as a paid OSS contributor and how he's leveraging that knowledge at Hopper.
