Our first meetup will have Adam Paszke (co-inventor, and core developer for PyTorch) and Jim Dowling (tech lead for Hops). They will talk about PyTorch 1.0 and TensorFlow 2.0, resepectively. There will be no fisticuffs! Both of these frameworks are great in their own way, and I am sure our speakers will share their passion with you.

About the speakers:

Adam Paszke:

Adam Paszke is one of the original authors and a core developer of PyTorch. Adam is a student of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Warsaw. He has interned at Facebook in New York on two occasions.

Jim Dowling:

Jim is the CEO of Logical Clocks and technical lead for Hops Hadoop. Jim has been focusing on research on Distributed Systems and Distributed Machine Learning at KTH and at the Swedish Institute of Computer Science.
