Join us for Talkie #4: Transforming our worlds through digital creativity

Details

UPDATED 9/12/15 with confirmed speakers and twitter names

On Thursday 10 December we'll be exploring how #Digital Creativity is transforming our worlds. This will be an evening of inspiring stories from our local digital, technology and artistic community. Plus there'll be socialising afterwards over mince pies and wine.

We’ll hear (and see) how five local companies and entrepreneurs are using digital technology to improve our homes, our cities, and our lives. There’ll be things to do with fish, dogs, buildings, and something we can’t even talk about yet. What could possibly go wrong...

We hope you'll be able to join us at this FREE event to ensure 2015 goes out with a bang. Our confirmed speakers are:

– Fish and Chips (Seneye) @seneye_aquatics (https://twitter.com/seneye_aquatics)
– Go Walkies (Kazz Morohashi) @gowalkiesdog (https://twitter.com/gowalkiesdog)
– Gamifying Urban Planning (Hudson Architects) @hudsonarch (https://twitter.com/hudsonarch)
– Introducing YellowRoc @YellowRocCES (https://twitter.com/YellowRocCES)
– Engaged with Reality (Immersive VR) @Immersivevr (https://twitter.com/Immersivevr)

Date: Thursday 10 December 2015 - doors open 5:45.
Talkies: 6.00–8.00pm (drinks and mince pies afterwards until 9.00pm)
Venue: NUA Lecture Theatre, Duke Street, Norwich NR3 3AH

Please RSVP here on Meetup to let us know whether or not you can make it (so we know how much food and drink to order). You are welcome to bring new members, friends - just +1 to your ticket.

Once again, thank you to NUA and their technical team for hosting this event in their Duke St Lecture Theatre. There will also be a glass of wine or two in the reception afterwards (8.00–9.00pm), courtesy of the Economic Development team at Norwich City Council. And Develop EBP in Norwich (http://developebp.co.uk/Norwich/index.html) have kindly sponsored the mince pies (freshly baked by award winning bakers, and fittingly named, Bread Source of Aylsham (http://www.bread-source.com/about-us.html)).

If you have any suggestions for future talkies - subject or speakers - please post your ideas below. Ideally, we would like to have more than one speaker at each event - so do tell us if you'd like to take part and have an innovative and creative tech story to tell.

Kind regards

Your Hot Source Team
