Special note Because Thanksgiving is early this year, we are moving the November meeting to one week earlier than our normal meeting. Same time, same location. Only the date has changed for this meeting.
Claude Jager-Rubinson has been working on his QCA (qualitative comparative analysis) statistical analysis software and wanted to show the progress that he's made. In a previous meetup, Claude talked about the origin of the software and the various iterations he's made with it: from R to Python, and from Python to OCaml.
This should be an interesting meeting! Find out how functional programming informs the process through which sociologists do their analysis.
