What we're about

Houston Oasis is a community that meets weekly to enjoy fascinating talks, live music, and friendship among non-religious people in the greater Houston area.

These five core values define the Houston Oasis community:

• People are more important than beliefs
• Reality is known through reason
• Meaning comes from making a difference
• Human hands solve human problems
• Be accepting and be accepted

Whether you're Agnostic, Atheist, Humanist, Questioning, or none of the above, at Oasis, you're free to make friends, volunteer, and have fun without religion or labels getting in the way.

Attend a Sunday gathering and enjoy conversation, talented musicians, and fascinating talks. Each gathering features a variety of guest speakers and topics of discussion. These topics are educational, often inspirational, and always grounded in reason. Childcare is provided. If you wish to continue the conversation, head over to the announced lunch spot after the program.

In addition to Sunday Gatherings, there are plenty of social events and volunteering opportunities available.
