Webinar Series: Infrastructure and Texas' Environment, June 14 - Env. Cleanups

Details

The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and Texas: Cleaning up the Environment, Growing Jobs and Resiliency Through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal

This series of webinars will feature state agency experts on available opportunities for state and local investments in energy, transportation, water and environmental cleanup

The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act is one of the most consequential laws in recent years for the environment. Texas will receive at least $35 billion from the law to strengthen our electric grid, get lead out of drinking water, clean up toxic waste dumps and so much more.

Sierra Club and our partners are holding this series of webinars to talk to Texas officials about their plans to spend the money.

In the second webinar of the series on June 14, hear from state officials on how funds from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will be used to address environmental cleanups, particularly abandoned oil wells, and superfund sites.

These webinars are every Tuesday at noon in June. Register for the individual webinars at: Webinar Registration - Zoom
