November 17 Program:
Harris County Precinct #2 Parks and Trails, Now and In The Future

On November 17, Doug Peterson will discuss the new draft Harris County Precinct #2 Parks and Trails Plan.
As one of just four commissioner precincts, Harris County Precinct 2 has just over one million residents, and it has a wealth of parks, community centers, programs and transportation programs including an ever-expanding system of multi-purpose trails that many, perhaps most residents don’t know about. This talk and Powerpoint presentation will help explain why the precincts are so important to our families across Harris County and specifically the eastern ¼ of the County, Precinct 2. Also, we hope to have a discussion of civic engagement and activism, a call to action.
