Distributed Ops at GitHub using chatops / Shlomi Noach

Abstract:

GitHub is a distributed company with people working asynchronously from all over the world. We run most of our operations in Chat, using our friendly bot, Hubot. These Chatops are a crucial tool in our workflow. We will discuss our usage, expectations and gains of Chatops, and present some examples of database infrastructure operations in chat. And then we can also talk about other stuff, like stickers, T-shirts and other items for sale on the Octocat Shop.
