What we're about

We are a bunch of people who want to do good, meaningful and ethical work for the good of people and the planet. We are building a community around the question How Might We Do Good (HMWDoGood) in Wellington.
It will be a place for important and challenging conversations —
> to articulate design ethics and the barriers we face.
> to instigate change we need
> to design for good
> to start a movement that matters.

We welcome all kinds of critiques and approaches. Our ideas won't always be in sync, and that's OK :) This may not burst into a million-strong movement, but that doesn't make the work any less important. We were inspired by the talks given at UXNZ 2017 by Ash Donaldson (http://www.uxnewzealand.com/speakers/ash-donaldson/) + Michael Palmyre (http://www.uxnewzealand.com/speakers/michael-palmyre/). We are keen to draw on and support the great work they are doing in Sydney + Melbourne.
