Reinventing Retirement
Are you longing to design an encore career chapter, where you can apply your best talents to make a difference? Perhaps a segue from full-time job to part-time freelance gig to boost your retirement nest egg? On Thursday, October 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hudson Library & Historical Society, join Donna Kastner, founder of Retirepreneur.com, for Retirement Reinvented, an interactive workshop filled with inspiring stories, insights and tips from others who are living their dream. Participants will enjoy a series of short “TED-style” talks, coupled with peer-to-peer discussion sprints with others who are pursuing this path. By the time we reach the finish line, you’ll not only be smarter, but you’ll have a few more people you can reach out to, as you continue to map out your encore career plan. Kastner is the founder of Retirepreneur.com, a digital learning community where pre-retirees can tap just-in-time insights across several platforms including a podcast, Retirepreneur TV airing on HCTV and a Facebook page of 1,500+. She serves as a professional speaker/consultant/session designer in the Trade Show & Conference industry and regularly hosts workshops at colleges and universities and other professional organizations.
