An Evening with Susie Carder, Author of Power Your Profits

The library will host a live virtual streaming event with profitability coach Susie Carder as she discusses her book, Power Your Profits: How to Take Your Business from $10,000 to $10,000,000. In her latest book, Carder outlines her “Predictable Success Method,” which acts as a bulletproof start-to-finish plan to build your business from startup to multi-million powerhouse. Entrepreneurs will learn how they can run their daily operations, account for sales and employ marketing systems that lead to predictable and substantial revenue and profit growth. Carder is a globally recognized profitability coach and former COO of Motivating the Masses, Inc., an international transformation and training company for small business owners. With over 20 years of experience, Carder has successfully worked with thousands of entrepreneurs and small business owners to raise their profits and growth; including two companies who raised their profits to over $10,000,000. Her work has been featured by The New York Times, the Associated Press, The United States Chamber of Commerce and NBC News. Entrepreneur, Investor and Founder of Schmidt’s Naturals, Jaime Schmidt

On Wednesday, October 7 at 7 p.m., the Hudson Library & Historical Society will host a live virtual streaming event with Jaime Schmidt, the founder of award-winning and bestselling Schmidt’s Naturals plant and mineral-based products sold in major global retail establishments. Schmidt will discuss her book, Supermaker: Crafting Business on Your Own Terms, which outlines how to start or grow your own business and provides insights into the lessons she has learned in marketing, sales growth, product development, customer engagement, scaling operations and partnerships. Barbara Corcoran, founder of The Corcoran Group and Shark on Shark Tank calls Supermaker “the secret sauce for launching and executing a successful business plan. It’s a must-read for emerging entrepreneurs!” Schmidt is the founder and former CEO of Schmidt’s Naturals, which sells plant and mineral-based products including natural deodorant, soap and toothpaste. In 2010, Schmidt began selling her products in farmers markets, and grew her brand to over 30 countries and onto the shelves of Target, Costco, CVS, Walmart and Whole Foods. The brand was acquired by Unilever in 2017. An icon in the maker movement, Schmidt is now the co-founder of Supermaker, a media platform that supports inclusive independent brands, provides voices to small up and coming companies and hosts conversations about workplace issues.
