We offer free innovative programs, workshops and events to assist entrepreneurs in establishing, growing and maintaining a healthy business. The Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship Research at the Hudson Library also provides one-on-one business mentoring, available by appointment.

Introduction to Microsoft Excel

Learn how to easily navigate, create, and manage spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel. During this introductory virtual class, participants will learn the basics of Microsoft Excel including how to navigate workbooks and sheets, entering data, basic formatting, along with common introductory formulas and functions. This class is designed for those with little to no experience using Microsoft Excel, or for those who have not used the program for some time and would like a refresher course. Basic mouse and keyboard skills are required.

Make Better Business Decisions with Google Analytics

Learn how to use Google Analytics on your website to better drive your business decisions on Tuesday, June 14 at 2 p.m. During this virtual class, participants will learn how to setup and start collecting data using a Google Analytics account. This class will also cover how to use the data to better understand your customers and how to use Google’s custom reporting features. This class is provided through a partnership with Grow with Google, which provides training, tools and resources to help individuals grow their skills, career or business.

Use YouTube to Grow Your Business

Learn how to distribute video content using YouTube to take your small business to the next level on Tuesday, June 28 at 2 p.m. During this virtual class, participants will learn how to get your small business on YouTube, create videos to help you achieve various business goals, organize your YouTube channel to attract viewers, promote your business with video, and use YouTube Live to present a livestream event. Participants do not need to have an existing YouTube channel to attend, but an active Gmail account is recommended. This class is provided through a partnership with Grow with Google, which provides training, tools and resources to help individuals grow their skills, career or business.
