Hi Hudson Valley Vegans,
Three weeks from today Hudson Valley Vegans will have a Vegan Dinner at The Hudson Valley Renegades Stadium on Route 9 D. Wednesday, July 28 at 6 pm. The Renegades reached out to us with the offer and we want to show them that vegan food is desired and appreciated. Their minimum guarantee is 25 people and we are still 5 people short. I am not inclined to begging and pleading, but, please, could a few of you (we have over 600 people on our email and Meetup sites) step up to the bat (weak joke) and join us for this event? $36 for dinner and game ticket.
We have a private area for both eating and watching the game. If you are a baseball fan – this evening is for you. If not so much, those who would rather watch less and socialize more can move to the back without disturbing others. Please let us show them that vegan food at the ballpark is desired and appreciated.
What is on the menu, you ask? I am working with the food service person and you can expect vegan versions of summer casual dining favorites, burgers and dogs, potato salad, baked beans – as soon as we finalize it, I will send it out.
To RSVP, email: [masked]. You may pay by sending a check, made out to Hudson Valley Vegans to: Roberta Schiff-

Our most popular speaker, Milton Mills MD will give one of his informative and entertaining powerpoint presentations at the private banquet room at La Florintina in Kingston. Saturday evening, August 14.
Milton expressed a desire to attend one of our events, that is why his talk is the night before our Annual Potluck Picnic to be held Sunday, August 15 at The Robert Post Park (our usual location) from 2-5 pm. Milton is looking forward to seeing those of us he knows and meeting others. He will not repeat his presentation, plan to attend the dinner. We will have a presentation at the picnic though, our friend Dawn Hilton-Williams will be visiting from South Carolina and will lead a discussion on how organizations (like ours) can become more inclusive.
