What we're about

**** Corona update****

I have added three event organizers in different counties around the valley to limit members' travel.
I also limit attendees to 5 members pr hike. This way, we can keep up with social distancing rules, and don't crowd the parking lots.
I recommend early starts to all hikes.

Some day, when this pandemic is under control, we will have a mega party with cupcakes and dog treats!
in the meantime... namaste... stay safe and keep those puppy tails waging!

******* ****************

This is a group of Dog lovers that like to socialize and get out for walks, hikes or attend events with our 4 legged companions.

We are all easy going, dog-loving people, and we understand that some dogs need a little more time to warm up to the pack. Never hesitate to ask questions about our pack, We have some very knowledgeable dog lovers in this group! If you don't have a dog, as long as you like being around dogs, you are more than welcome to get your "dog-fix" with us!

Our hikes/walks range from somewhat challenging and strenuous to very easy walks in the park. With skill levels ranging from beginner to expert and anywhere in between, all are welcome! We try to find dog-friendly restaurants locally to the hike where we can enjoy each other's company just a little longer.

We also attend events organized by others there bringing our dogs are encouraged and accepted! We love exploring local, outdoor, dog-friendly locations and meet like-minded individuals, and we hope you would like to join us

Let's check out what the greater Hudson Valley area has to offer for pet-friendly recreation.
