Upper UPPER Wappingers Creek

Put in at Wappingers Creek in Pleasant Valley, NY, paddle downstream 7 miles, and then take out at Greenvale Park in Poughkeepsie, NY. Veteran kayaker Ted Gass is leading this event and needs six people to make this trip happen. 10-12 foot kayaks permitted. This is a one way trip and we will car spot to retrieve vehicles and kayaks.

IMPORTANT: The put in is behind Pleasant Valley Recreation and also behind the Town Clerk's office. Near the baseball diamond. You'll see the parking lot on Google Maps Satellite. Park on lower parking lot next to the creek on your right.

What to bring:
** Lunch, Snacks, Water
** Insect Repellent
** Sun Screen, Sun Hat, Sun Glasses
