OC Humanist Community Open Discussion

Join us (every other Thursday) for a wide-open discussion on any topic of interest, all to have some fun and build community. The group will decide on topics. Suggestions include:
· Upcoming events (SoCal Secular Coalition, AHA etc.)
· Current events (in the news, covid, politics etc.)

• How do we deal with news sources, who to trust, how to verify fact
  from fiction, need for humility - the balance of freedoms and
  boundaries
• Humanism
  o how do we live meaningful lives
  o how can we build humanist communities
• Show and tell – what’s on your mind? (two give 3-5min review)
  o Book review
  o Could be about anything you're passionate about or interested in (music, art, hobbies
• Discuss fun things to do together -. Anything else on your mind
