Marijuana Policy: What everyone needs to know

Details
Not an HRI event, but as members of the Regulate RI Coalition, this is something our members might be interested in.
As Rhode Island considers creating a system to legalize, regulate, and tax the sale of marijuana to adults, join us for an evening of discussion about our current marijuana policies and where we are headed. Expert panelists include a retired Providence police officer, a public health researcher from The Miriam Hospital, and a civil rights attorney. Brief presentations by panelists will be followed by a 45 minute question-and-answer discussion session.
Panelists include:
Bradley Brockmann, JD, civil rights attorney and executive director of the Center for Prisoner Health and Human Rights
Michelle McKenzie, MPH, senior project director at The Miriam Hospital and director of the Preventing Overdose and Naloxone Intervention (PONI) program
Beth Comery, retired Providence police officer and speaker for Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP)
Rebecca McGoldrick, executive director of Protect Families First
This event is co-hosted by Regulate Rhode Island and Protect Families First.
