What we're about

The Prairie State Humanists (formerly Humanists of West Suburban Chicagoland) is a membership chapter of the American Humanist Association. Humanism is a progressive philosophy of life that, without supernaturalism, affirms our ability and responsibility to lead ethical lives of personal fulfillment that aspire to the greater good of humanity. Our motto is "Reason and compassion beyond belief."

Our YouTube channel, with videos of prior meetings and many Science Sundays is here: https://www.youtube.com/humanistsofwestsuburbanchicagoland (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpiMh2hi8dXqy3vhAWqBK-g)
We typically meet at the DuPage Unitarian Universalist Church in Naperville, who are very supportive of our secular messages and programs.
