North Central College Panel Discussion on Moral Courage
Hosted by Prairie State Humanists (formerly HWSC)
Details
NCC's Atheist, Agnostic, and Humanist Society is presenting a panel discussion about morality and different modes of belief. 5 Professors (Tim Morris of Philosophy, Shereen Ilahi of History, Kelly Howe of Theater, Martha Bohrer of English, and Perry Hamalis of Religious Studies) will be discussing questions like "What are the implications of tying morality to religion" and "If morality does not come from religion, where does it come from?"
It is the first in a series called "Dessert, Coffee, and Conversation" put on by NCC's group. Please invite anyone who would be interested, it will be a fascinating conversation between academics, with time for questions from students and the community.
