The FUN SINGLES meetup is an informal singles group offering adults, over age 21, opportunities to socialize with other singles adults. It is to open to singles, someone without a "significant other" in their life, who reside in, or frequently visit, Northern Alabama or Southern Tennessee. It is intended to make it easier for singles to share fun activities with other singles. It is NOT a dating club for singles, many Fun Singles are perfectly happy being single.
Get out of the house, join other Fun Singles for some fun !
We encourage all Fun Singles Members to host activities of their interest - cookouts, concerts, dancing, etc. are planned from time to time. Some Fun Singles meetups may be for singles adults only, others may be cross posted for non singles and/or welcome children of singles parents. If the Fun Singles posted meetup description doesn't specify, assume it is intended for singles adults only, or ask the official Fun Singles host.
We have ceased the recurring monthly meet & greet. (hopefully only temporarily)
If you chose to date other members, by all means enjoy life! However, please remember this is a social group for singles adults, not a "meat-market". We reserve the right to reject what might be perceived as provocative photos or profiles of Fun Singles members, to delete inappropriate comments posted on the Fun Singles site, ban any member, singles or not singles, from the Fun Singles meetup, reject Fun Singles membership requests and in all ways to administer and manage the Fun Singles meetup at the sole discretion of the Fun Singles leadership team.
Fun Singles group membership requirements: min. age 21 and profiles must include:
* a real name. Common 1st names should include a last initial, or other added identifier.
* a real photo which must show your face. Pets, gardens, etc are not acceptable. Feel free to include other photos, but the primary photo must show your face and no one else's. You may set different primary photos for different groups in accordance with their guidelines, or lack of.
*a residence or workplace within 50 miles of Huntsville, AL or submit a mssg explaining how you will be able to attend events in the Huntsville area. There is not a residency requirement per se. However, to physically meetup in person, is the purpose of the group.
