Welcome to the September meetup of Hyperledger LA!

This month we are very excited to hear from Brian Behlendorf, Executive Director Hyperledger as well as a distinguished panel of industry leaders, on the state of blockchain. Brian will discuss recent updates and innovations in the Hyperledger project, and an industry panel will provide first-hand insights around investing in and launching blockchain startups, the open-chain ecosystem, and recent trends in the regulatory environment.

**Speakers**

BRIAN BEHLENDORF
Executive Director to the Hyperledger Project

Brian Behlendorf was a primary developer of the Apache Web server, the most popular web server software on the Internet, and a founding member of the Apache Software Foundation. He has also served on the board of the Mozilla Foundation and the Electronic Frontier Foundation. He was the founding CTO of CollabNet and CTO of the World Economic Forum. Most recently, Brian was a managing director at Mithril Capital Management LLC, a global technology investment firm.

**PARKING**
Guests can park at any metered parking off of Vermont Avenue and 36th street. Parking is free after 8pm.

There is also parking at Downey Way Parking Structure. The entrance to this parking structure is off of 36th Street & Vermont. Parking at this structure is $12.
