What we're about

Mission Statement:
We facilitate great conversations between Blockchain executives, analysts and developers to further the implementation of ‘Blockchain for Business’ through education and networking opportunities and contribute to the deployment of great projects and innovative solutions.

About the Hyperledger Foundation:
The Hyperledger Foundation is an open source collaborative effort hosted by the Linux Foundation and created to advance cross-industry blockchain technologies. Participation is open to all.

Hyperledger Meetup groups have an informal relationship with Hyperledger, and make up a key part of the Hyperledger ecosystem. Participation in a Hyperledger Meetup group is open to anyone--employees of a Hyperledger member company, Hyperledger contributors and developers, and people just passionate about blockchain technology.

Hyperledger URSA code review: Ready for Production?

Network event

Needs a location

Hey everyone! We're excited to announce that we'll be hosting an online event on May 24th. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Hyperledger Ursa. Hyperledger Ursa is a shared cryptographic library that would enable people (and projects) to avoid duplicating other cryptographic work and hopefully increase security in the process.

The Digital Identity Laboratory of Canada (IDLab) is pleased to share the results of its security and cryptography code review of the Hyperledger URSA crypto library.

In support to future deployments of digital identity services toward production, rooted in a “trust but verify” mindset, the IDLab completed an arms-length third party assessment of the URSA crypto library to understand and mitigate the risks associated with the use of Hyperledger technology in the domain of decentralized identity. Pierre Roberge will present the approach that was taken, followed by a review of the key findings and conclusions drawn from the exercise.

About the speaker: Pierre A. Roberge is co-founder and General Manager of the Digital Identity Laboratory of Canada. Pierre has over 25 years of expertise and experience in digital transformation in different fields such as digital identity, integrated privacy protection, electronic payment, banking operations and, more generally, in cybersecurity.

Pierre builds bridges between the fields of business and technology in the use of emerging technologies, to create and operationalize new strategic opportunities.

Workshop Series: How to deploy blockchain networks with Hyperledger Bevel

Network event

Hey everyone! We're excited to announce that we'll be hosting an online workshop on June 16th. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Hyperledger Bevel!

We will showcase the usage of Hyperledger Bevel and how to deploy a network using that. This is a hands-on workshop and participants are expected to have a Cloud Kubernetes cluster with Hashicorp Vault installed.

About the speaker: Sownak Roy - Technical Architect at Accenture and Technical Architect and a Maintainer of Hyperledger Bevel

More info:
Hyperledger Bevel is an accelerator by which developers can consistently deploy production-ready distributed networks across public and private cloud providers.
