On Tuesday, April 28 at 6PM EST, join us for a webinar event discussing Trade Programs designed to assist Canadian technology startups.
Our guest speakers will be Trade Commissioner - Information and Commuication Technologies Rob Fiddick and Toronto Trade Commissioner Todd Barrett - Each presenter will be open to Q&A after their presentations.
Todd Barrett currently works for Global Affairs Canada - Canada's federal ministry responsible for Foreign Affairs, International Trade, and International Development Assistance. He will provide an overview of Trade Commissioner Service programs such as Canadian Trade Accelerator and various CanExport funding programs - these are for Canadian companies looking to expand globally and develop international partnerships, aiming to commercialize new technologies.
Rob Fiddick is currently a Trade Commissioner at the Consulate General of Canada in Seattle. He assists technology companies from across Canada to identify cross-border commercial opportunities in the Pacific Northwest. He will be giving an overview of the Canadian Blockchain Market Accelerator - an initiative where six Canadian blockchain startups are selected to take part in an 8-week program that builds to pitch sessions with companies including Microsoft, Google, and Amazon.
Navigating a startup project across the border can be met with surprise. Learning 'as you go' can lead to roadblocks that slows progress and bottlenecks scalability. And we may not be aware of opportunities out there to help us advance.
RSVP for this valuable session aimed at Canadian technology startups looking to bring their initiatives to the United States. Link provided here closer to webinar date.
