Tomisin from SecureKey will present 'The Future of Digital Identities'. In brief, this talk will discuss how Hyperledger Aries can make digital identity management simpler and more scalable which will ultimately improve user experience.

Talk Summary:

Distributed Ledger Technologies face a limit when tasked to deliver a user experience similar to existing centralized systems today.
This is partly due to the inability of everyday users to interact with Decentralized Applications without awareness of the underlying ledger.
New developments in the last year have laid the foundation for a seamless experience through the use of decentralized identifiers and digital identities.
This talk will cover the progress so far, where the industry is heading and how the Hyperledger Aries project is paving the way.

Speaker's Bio:

Tomisin Jenrola is currently working as a Software Engineer from SecureKey Technologies. He has worked and consulted on various blockchain projects and initiatives. It ranges from governments and some of their agencies to startups and large corporations in Canada and abroad. His contributions to Hyperledger include Aries-Framework-Go and Fabric-SDK-Go.
