Have you seen the TV show “Lie to Me?” In the show, Dr. Cal Lightman is a human lie detector, and he can even tell exactly what emotion someone is feeling! Now some of the science is embellished for Hollywood purposes, but according to our guest expert Jay Williams, much of it is based in the science that has been taught to the CIA, the FBI, and police interrogators everywhere. Although you will really never be able to tell exactly WHAT one is thinking, we can learn to tell HOW one is thinking. Our special guest expert THIS Thursday has studied the tricks and techniques of the best in the world at lie detection.

They say that only 7% of communication is the actual words that we speak while 93% is conveyed in our tone of voice and in our body language.

But how do you notice it? How do you interpret it?

It is like everyone is speaking this wordless language and 93% of their communication is invisible – unless you are one of the few who have the skills to understand it.

Beyond lie detection, you will really just be able to “read” people to create better relationships. When something is bothering your partner, you will know beyond a shadow of a doubt! And when you hit on the real problem, or what it is they really want, it will be obvious.

The thing is, you can read some people like a book. When they are excited, they light up like a Christmas tree! When they are mad, it shows! However, many people keep it much more hidden. You will learn the secret to detecting “congruent” and “non-congruent” statements. Sometimes it’s not a lie, it’s just that One has doubts about ability.
