Welcome to I TALK TO STRANGERS® series of themed networking events on Mental Health. This series was created in response to Perspective The Short Film, a project by Jay 'Superior' Doodnauth that accounts the mental health challenges minority communities experience day in, day out.
In this series of Tuesday Talks with Strangers - Perspectives on Mental Health, we aim to provide the safe and welcoming space. Today's space has been generously donated by @StaplesCanada. Everyone in Stranger Nation can meet and share their stories and fight the stigma of an illness that affects one in 5 Canadians. The facilitated small-group discussions is an opportunity to normalize the conversation about this pressing topic and for co-workers, management, friends, and family to learn how to best support. All are welcomed.

+What is Tuesday Talks with Strangers?
Tuesday Talks is an evening gathering where guests are introduced to fellow strangers in their local community in a fun, social networking fashion. Along with guests from all walks of life, participants explore how talking with other individuals leads to meaningful, lasting relationships in both personal and professional life! There is no admittance fee, all free! The evening is a time to kick back after work in the early part of the week, have fun meeting new people, converse about topics you might not normally talk about, and get inspired!

I TALK TO STRANGERS® Foundation (ITTS www.italktostrangers.org) is an international movement and 501(c)(3) non-profit from the United States, whose mission is to provide to an individual’s life increased opportunities, experiences, and understandings about the world around them through conversation. This is achieved through programs, projects, and events with organizations interested in promoting enriching dialogue.
