We're a group of people who use self observation an anthropomorphism (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthropomorphism) to improve any part of our lives. It should be also fun and easy! We gather in Manhattan for workshops or meetings in the park or other interesting venues.
A big part of what we explore are the relationships we have with the different topics in our lives. That's why we use anthropomorphism! Tapping into - and using - this cognitive process leads to more influence, understanding and happiness in our lives.
'Talking to yourself' That's sound weird right? But we do talk to ourselves all the time. We've got these little voices in our heads like in the new Pixar movie 'Inside out (trailer) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2096673/)'.
Every sensation we experience; thoughts, feelings etc. are all a vital parts of the system that we are. Seeing ourselves as a running system is the answer to improve our lives. For example it is great to see in the movie that Sadness and Anger are as important as Joy for the whole happiness of the main character..! This totally corresponds with the I Philosophy.
Eva Helmond developed this pragmatic, easy and fun method (http://www.theiphilosophy.com) to explore the relationship with certain topics in your life in 2013. She moved from Amsterdam to NY where I Philosophy is a big success.
Walk & talks (workshops while walking): they begin again in April in Central Park
