Through a bachelor in Industrial Engineering & Management he learned to connect and optimize processes, systems but also people to gain the best results. Two years ago Robin was one of the initiators in the city of Harderwijk who started building an open and free of charge LoRa Network. By working together with IBM and other partners we have been building some exciting new IoT solutions
As a child, Ate van der Meer was already an entrepreneur, with a huge passion for technology and innovation. A pioneer, who, as a teenager, pushed his Commodore 64 to the limit. Writing code wasn't it for him, but he was good at code application, and within a few years, his first company was a fact. At the end of the 80s, he bought a Commodore Amiga, which opened up the door to the digital world. Within no time, he made contact all over the world via Bulletin Boards and started distributing software. In the mid-90s, he became the face of Snakeware #1 in e-business, and up to this day, he continues to build on this leading agency for digital media. Ate likes sharing his experiences with people. He is an enthusiastic, skilled and eloquent man, with a good sense of humour. These ingredients make him a popular guest, speaker and host. He gives his audience new insights, concrete and practical advice and food for thought about technology and innovation. "My passion and goal are obvious, pioneering and technology is what keeps me going. As a child I became obsessed with the limitless possibilities of technology, worked hard to achieve goals, dare to be different and I'll never stop the momentum".
