If you’re a software developer, chances are you’ve heard of mirco-services, Kubernetes, or Docker at some point in time. The industry has accepted each of these concepts as the de facto standard for modern software development due to the various advantages over traditional VM virtualisation but where did this all begin?

This is a workshop aimed at people who have no experience with (Docker) containers who want to know how they can get started with creating and running their own containers.
