Engineering and Artificial Intelligence at NVIDIA

Details
Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Rob Murray, NVIDIA
This talk will focus on the 'history' and 'trends' of Engineering and Artificial Intelligence. Rob worked at Intel and other places where he was able to 'change' with the technology and is interested in helping our students learn more about the industry and how to 'break into it', if they are interested in it. He is a great resource into the gaming and AI industry. With his engineering degree, he will approach the talk from an engineering mind set versus software development.
Rob Murray studied electrical engineering at Brigham Young University while supporting a family by working full time at Signetics. Designing memories and microprocessors at Intel, he led a team implementing the highest clock speed execution unit ever included in a high-volume microprocessor in two different novel technologies. Rob is a Principal ASIC engineer for NVIDIA corporation, a leading company in graphics, high performance computing, artificial intelligence and driving automation.
