IET Regional finals of Present Around the World (PATW) 2018

To our fellow engineering colleagues, the outside public and members of the IET Ottawa Local Network. We cordially invite you to the IET’s regional finals of Present Around the World (PATW) 2018.

For those less familiar with PATW The IET’s Present around the World (PATW) is a well-established competition with several heats designed to encourage young engineers and technicians, to develop their presentation skills in a fun and friendly environment.

The objective of PATW is to hone the necessary communications skills of engineers and technicians to enhance personal skills and assist in communicating in a more confident and efficient manner in order to attain your career goals.

We would encourage all of the Ottawa engineering community to come along and support this amazing event in our home town. As in other years, we look forward to being informed and entertained by these great presenters and it would be an ideal opportunity to rejuvenate those links with our partner organisations and show how Ottawa supports its younger engineering community.
