Let's explore a very vibrant, diverse, historic and modern part of Korea town. - COST: $15 per person :-) for the tour(food not included).
We will explore the history of Wilshire Blvd. (both interesting and tragic), as well as experience and taste the diverse foods and places in and around the area which is full of international foods and shopping!

Let's learn of the glamorous and heady early years of Wilshire Blvd where Stars and Celebrities lived and shopped and partied in beautiful Art Deco buildings. The Ambassador Hotel hosted several Oscars and celebrities partied at the iconic Coconut Grove, the Brown Derby and many more.

There's the beautiful example of churrigueresque style architecture and history of Chapman Plaza; the marbled and Art Deco Bullock's Building; the Korean consulate; the historical Immanual Church with its gorgeous revival gothic architecture; and the famous Talmadge Apartments.

We will meet at the 85°C Bakery Café (Asian Bakery) at 10 am, have some coffee or tea and/or Asian pastries, do an intro and start the tour.
We will end at a delicious restaurant.
