The wisdom of the clear light of all Buddhas appears in the form of Venerable Vajrayogini. By relying upon her with deep faith and putting imagination into practice, we can swiftly accomplish a blissful, great compassion that is the real quick path to enlightenment. We will first receive teachings from Gen-la Jampa on the condensed sadhana of Vajrayogini entitled The Blissful Path. This will be followed by three day guided retreat by Kadam Michelle. You are welcome to attend any and all of this event. You are invited to stay for the IKRC community vegetarian meal on Thanksgiving day! About the teacher Gen-la Jampa is an internationally renowned Buddhist ordained teacher, the Deputy Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU) and the Resident Teacher of the IKRC Grand Canyon. As a senior teacher of the NKT, Gen-la Jampa has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years and under his guidance has taught at many centers and events internationally. Gen-la is well-loved for his clear and inspiring teachings and his ability to touch people’s hearts through his sincerity and loving-kindness. Meditation for Kids

Family fun with meditations, games, stories and activities. Children will be gently guided in relaxing meditations and fun activities, giving them techniques to gain confidence, focus and consideration for others. Appropriate for ages 4 - 12 years. This class is at the same time as the adult Sunday Morning Class, 11am - 12:15pm. Drop your child off at the kids class and join the adults class, or stay with your child if you'd like. Registration: Just drop-in, $3 for one child, $5 for families with multiple children
