Software Freedom Day (SFD) is an annual worldwide celebration of Free Software. SFD is a public education effort with the aim of increasing awareness of Free Software and its virtues, and encouraging its use.

Over 1000 volunteer groups in over 120 countries all around the globe celebrate the Software Freedom Day every year in September.

Software Freedom Day is aimed to educate the public and encourage the use of free and open source software. Join Indian Linux User's Group Delhi(NCR) at CIC, University of Delhi.
