About this talk:
In the past decade, Adobe has made a significant change to its business model by changing it from delivering software packages to the subscription model. This has enabled moving products and services to the cloud while delivering new features quickly and more frequently. To support the frequent delivery of new features and improvements, Adobe has adopted Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD). To conform to the CI/CD model, the globalization team at Adobe started to develop the continuous localization (CL) framework for Adobe’s software and documentation. Here, we share our key challenges and experiences in developing the new localization framework/workflow that is leveraged by the Adobe Digital Experience product engineering teams to integrate software internationalization and localization continuously, as a part of their CI/CD. We also demonstrate the implementation of the CL of documentation with the newly developed MT-First strategy.
